My mom’s ex picked me up and we drove to the car place.
And I completely forgot about the deposit money you have to leave there, which were about 200$. No amount I have on my bank account right now, so he payed for me, which was super nice. Then he invited me to a breakfast which I refused since I already felt guilty.
I haven’t been to my old apartment properly in two months. And there was SO. MUCH. DUST. I was pretty embarrassed but the guys just made jokes about it, so that was good.
Got two messages from my former roommates asking when I would move out and to quote:
“Are you finally moving out soon? We can help you if you need that.”
Which was just a “nice” way of saying “We need you to be fucking gone, doesn’t matter that the room is still payed for more than a week.”
Ignored that. We packed everything up in an hour, with a little break to pick up tools at my father’s place.
Then we drove out to my new apartment and all of us somehow got into the car with two people sitting in the back between the furniture and three of us in the front, hoping no police car would stop us because I was sitting on Joey’s lap.
After we had everything brought up into my apartment we went home and I immediately fell asleep, was then woken up so my friends could invite me to an all you can eat sushi thing.
Which was really sweet, but a torture when you’re sick and have to make sure to eat at least the amount of sushi that balances out the money you payed.
Somehow we ended up in a little bar afterwards and a girl I had never seen before felt obligated to tell me about the many different salts that you can buy and which ones taste good or bad, etc.
Salt. I didn’t know you could talk for 45min about fucking. Salt.
I think I know more about salt now than I ever wanted to. Or need to. SALT.

Now I’m home, I’m beat but happy and will work on Ros’ project.
